TEACHING STAFF

Each course may have one or more Tutors. Teachers assist the Coordinators in their work. In addition to their teaching duties, they undertake the supervision of the Postgraduate Diploma Thesis of the D.P.M.S. and assignments in the taught course. Lecturers have the following obligations:
i. They have the responsibility, in collaboration with the Coordinator, to maintain and update the e-class of the course with notes and other teaching material, as well as to inform the Graduate Students and the institutions of the MSc.
ii. They set, in cooperation with the Coordinator, exam questions, correct and grade papers.
iii. Participate in the supervision of the examinations.
iv. Establish times when they will be available for communication with the MSc students. Keep attendance records during the conduct of lectures.

In the MSc “Informatics and Computational Biomedicine” may teach:
a) members of Teaching Research Staff (D.R.P.), Special Teaching Staff (S.T.P.), Laboratory Teaching Staff (L.T.P.) and Special Technical Laboratory Staff (S.T.L. Specialised Technical Teaching Staff (STT staff) of the collaborating Departments or other Departments of the same or another Higher Educational Institution (HEI) or Higher Military Educational Institution (HEMI),
b) Emeritus Professors or retired members of the collaborating Departments or other Departments of the same or another HEI,
c) cooperating teachers,
d) appointed teachers,
(e) visiting professors or visiting researchers,
f) researchers and special operational scientists of research and technological institutions under Article 13A of Law No. 4310/2014 (A’ 258) or other research centres and institutes in Greece or abroad,
g) scientists of recognized prestige, who have specialized knowledge and relevant experience in the subject matter of the MSc. The assignment of the teaching work of the MSc is carried out by a decision of the Curriculum Committee, on recommendation of the Coordinating Committee of the MSc.
