Use of Information and Communication Technologies for Children and Adolescents with Learning Difficulties
Description.
The main objective of this module is to provide the postgraduate student with the knowledge that will allow him/her to recognize and evaluate the Learning Difficulties of children in the classroom environment and to adapt his/her teaching to the teaching needs of the specific group of children.
The syllabus of the course covers:
Identifying children with Learning Difficulties within the classroom environment.
The disturbances in brain activity that are responsible for Learning Difficulties.
The assessment of Learning Difficulties and the approach of the student depending on the Learning Difficulty he/she has.The development of skills and the application of strategies, in order to better teach the lesson to children with Learning Difficulties.
The creation, development and use of detection and/or intervention software for students with Learning Difficulties.
