THESIS REGULATIONS

Postgraduate students may complete a Postgraduate Diploma Thesis in their third semester of studies in order to complete the necessary credits for the award of the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies. A prerequisite for a Msc. Student to submit an application for a Postgraduate Thesis is to have accumulated at least thirty (30) ECTS from the courses offered. The Master’s Thesis is carried out individually under the supervision of a faculty member of the MSc and corresponds to 30 ECTS. The Postgraduate Diploma Thesis is written in Greek. However, it is possible to write the thesis in English after the relevant decision of the Programme Commitee The Master’s Thesis must be thematically in the field covered by the specific MSc and demonstrate advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills, critical thinking, analytical, synthetic and research skills. It may relate to theoretical or applied subjects and may be carried out in cooperation with a private or public body active in related fields.
