PROGRAMME COMMITTEE

According to Article 81 of Law No. 4957/2022 and the cooperation protocol signed by the participating Departments in the MSc., a seven (7) member Programme Committee consisting of four (4) members of the Faculty of Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, by one (1) faculty member of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications and two (2) representatives of the 4 MSc. students, elected by the students of the MSc., for an annual term of office.
The members of the Commmitte are elected by the Assemblies of the participating Departments for a two-year term of office. The Commmitte shall be chaired by the following members. Director of the MSc.who shall be appointed by the Programme Committee from among its members. The Pogramme Committee is responsible for the organization, administration and management of the MSc. and in particular:

a) establish Committees to evaluate the applications of prospective postgraduate students and approve their enrolment in the programme,
b) assigns the teaching work to the lecturers of the MSc.
c) recommends to the Senate the amendment of the decision to establish the MSc, as well as the extension of the duration of the MSc,
d) set up examination committees for the examination of postgraduate students’ theses and appoint a supervisor for each thesis,
e) determines the successful completion of the course of study in order to award the title of the MSc,
f) approve the report of the MSc., upon the recommendation of the Coordinating Committee.
By decision of the P.C the responsibilities of paragraphs a) and d) may be transferred to the Cooridnating Committee

  • Dimitrios Iakovidis, Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, 
  • Athanasios Loukopoulos, Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics,
  • Konstantinos Delimpasis,  Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics,
  • Theodoros Tsiftsis, Professor of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications.
