COORDINATING COMMITTEE

According to Article 81 of Law No. 4957/2022, a Coordinating Committee (CC) for the MSc. is appointed, consisting of. Director of the Msc. and four (4) faculty members of the two (2) Departments that have a related subject to that of the programme and undertake teaching work in the programme. The Coordinating Committee has a two-year term of office, and its members must be Director of the MSc. and four (4) of the members of the Programme Committee

The Coordinating Committee is responsible for monitoring and coordinating the operation of the programme and in particular:
a) prepare the initial annual budget of the MSc and its amendments, if the MSc has resources in accordance with Article 84, and recommend its approval to the Research Committee of the Special Account for Research Funds (ELKE),
(b) prepare the report of the programme and recommend its approval to the Programme Committee
c) approve the implementation of the expenditure of the MSc
d) approve the award of scholarships, contributory or not, in accordance with the provisions set out in the decision establishing the MSc and the Regulations for postgraduate and doctoral studies,
e) recommend to the Programme Committee the allocation of teaching work, as well as the assignment of teaching work to the categories of teachers referred to in Article 83,
f) recommends to the Programme Committee the invitation of Visiting Professors to cover the teaching needs of the programme,
g) prepare a plan for the modification of the curriculum, which is submitted to the Programme Committee
h) recommends to the Programme Committee the redistribution of courses between academic semesters, as well as issues related to the qualitative upgrading of the curriculum. 

At the end of the term of office of the Committee, under the responsibility of the outgoing Director, a detailed report of the research and educational work of the MSc, as well as of its other activities, is drawn up with the aim of upgrading the studies, the better utilization of human resources, the optimization of existing infrastructures and the socially beneficial use of the available resources of the MSc. Programme Committee and after its approval it is submitted to the Assemblies of the collaborating Departments.

  2. Mr.  Dimitrios Iakovidis,  Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, 
  3. Mr. Athanasios Loukopoulos, Associate Professor of Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics,
  4. Mr. Konstantinos Delimpasis, Associate Professor   Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics,
  5. Mr.  Theodoros Tsiftsis, Associate Professor of the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications.
