Specific Topics of Simulation

Description.

Thecourse focuses on current trends and methods concerning the mathematical modelling and simulation of a variety of dynamic systems, which are encountered in practice in many different fields of application. It covers the classical modeling theory where continuous-time representations are used, the basic techniques for modeling various types of dynamic systems (electrical, mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, etc.) with the fundamental principles, the methods for solving the corresponding linear or nonlinear equations, and the simulation methods with various numerical integration techniques and differential equation solving. In addition, emphasis is placed on the practical application of simulation of dynamic systems operation in MATLAB/SIMULINK and PYTHON.
