The connection between research and teaching is one of the priorities of the MSc Programme. This is achieved both through the Diploma Theses, but also through other activities developed by the Postgraduate Students as they participate in the activities of the MSc Programme. The consequence of this is the fact that the Postgraduate Students have a significant research activity, as reflected in the number of scientific papers published in the proceedings of national and international conferences and in scientific journals with the system The evolution of the number of publications in each calendar year (since the establishment of the MSc Programme) is shown in Figure 1.It is important to note that the mentioned research activity refers to the years of study in the MSc Programme and does not include any work carried out by postgraduate students who later proceeded to the preparation of a PhD thesis.
