Every postgraduate student has the right to request, upon application, permission to temporarily suspend studies and to extend them. The permit is granted by decision of the Programme Committee, is granted only once and cannot exceed two (2) consecutive semesters and an extension, which cannot exceed one (1) semester. The semesters of suspension of student status do not count towards the maximum duration of regular studies. In any case, the total time for the award of the Diploma of Postgraduate Studies cannot exceed nine (9) semesters, including possible suspension of studies.
