ACCESS

The Equal Access Unit for People with Disabilities and People with Special Educational Needs at the University of Thessaly (UTH) has as its mission to ensure the full participation of members of the university community who are persons with disabilities and persons with special educational needs in all educational, research, and administrative activities carried out by the University. It provides multidimensional services aimed primarily at students with disabilities and/or special educational needs, to volunteer students, as well as to the teaching and administrative staff of all departments of the University of Thessaly in the cities of Volos, Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa, and Lamia. The Equal Access Unit also collaborates with various organizations and participates in a variety of activities related to accessibility issues. The Equal Access Unit is an independent department and reports to the Rector of the University of Thessaly.
Students can register with the Equal Access Unit online via its website (prosvasi.uth.gr). Teaching and administrative staff can also contact the Equal Access Unit to request information or support.
