The graduates of the MSc. can continue third cycle studies for doctoral thesis at the Departments of Computer Science and Biomedical Infromatics and Informatics and Telecommunications. By the end of 2022, forty-five (45) graduates of the MSc have started (or completed) doctoral studies in the two Departments. Also, according to a survey conducted through anonymous questionnaires of MSc. graduates, 12% of the 721 graduates of the Program have gone on to doctoral studies, which means that many have gone on to pursue doctoral studies at other institutions, even abroad.
