The MSc Programme was approved by the Ministerial Decision, <a href=\"http:\/\/icb.sci.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/fek-2730-13_10-14_0.pdf\">Government Gazette 2730, vol. \u0392\u0384\/13.10.2014<\/a>, Num. 159893\/<\/span>B<span lang=\"EL\">7\/6-10-2014, amended by No. 16394\/16\/GP, Government Gazette 3757, vol. <a href=\"http:\/\/icb.sci.uth.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/%CE%A6%CE%95%CE%9A-2800_2018-%CE%95%CE%A0%CE%91%CE%9D%CE%99%CE%94%CE%A1%CE%A5%CE%A3%CE%97%CE%A3-%CE%94%CE%A0%CE%9C%CE%A3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Official Gazette of Re-establishment 2008, 13\/7\/2018<\/a>. To promote scientific research and the specialization of graduate scientists in the fields of:<br>a) Computational Medicine and Biology,<br>b) Computer Science with applications in Security, Big Data management and Simulation, and<br>c) Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Education.<br>The program aims to train graduates in the following areas:<\/p><p><b>ii. <\/b>Attracting graduates of the two collaborating Departments, who either seek education through the second cycle of studies, or wish to continue for doctoral studies.<\/p><p><b>iii.<\/b> Attracting graduates from other Departments or Institutions with a related field of study and with potential for further research activity.<\/p><p><b>iv.<\/b> To strengthen the presence of the School of Sciences and increase its student population, in order to further enhance its position and competitiveness in the academic environment.<\/p><p><b>v. To provide high quality postgraduate education, both to the local community, nationally and internationally, so that graduates have the ability to contribute in the short and medium term to the
